I JUST GOOGLED THE AVERAGE TIME FOR SHOOTING A FILM AND IT'S ONLY 2-6 MONTHS

I was thinking it had probably already been a few months but now... LOL
I'm thinking of combining a few options:
1: Her dad is not just starring in the film, but also producing and/or directing the film so in addition to filming he also has to stay on for the rest.
2: Maybe it's a franchise and they're working on the films back to back just like the MCU?
3: I think we said before that this was going to take place, timeline wise, about a year after the start of the series? So iiiiiif we went with them being around 15 or 16 (since the series is vague, I mean, maybe we could fudge it this time?) maybe by the time production wraps Piper coulllld be old enough to make a case for staying in Paris?
I really think her dad would be loathed to uproot her when this is the best she's done in school EVER. PERIOD. You know? So maybe Piper pleads with her dad to let her stay behind and he makes that his new home that he comes and goes from, and/or one of the other kids families could agree to put her up???? (Cracking up picturing her staying on with Rose's family and Rose being all SUPER GIRLY CUTSEY AT PIPER ALL THE TIME and Piper is incapable of disliking her, she's so well intended.)
THIS ALL SOUNDS FINE TO ME TBH LMAO especially the idea of it being a franchise?? I think when we originally plotted it out we went with a period of about 3 years or so, so a few months could still be feasible. She can also make a strong case based on her doing well in school here, and if we give her a miraculous, she def would be compelled to stay!!
