[ She smiles, relieved beyond words that she was able to get there in time, none the wiser that he could have probably saved himself. Her heart is still pounding, truth be told, and she'd let him go to stand on his own for more than just urgency- her fingers are still trembling from the scare. Just because she can push past the terror in the moment doesn't make it any less terrifying. If she'd been just a moment too slow or late... She'd be having nightmares for the rest of her life, and that's as far as she's willing to let that train of thought go.

At his question, though, a playful spark lights up her eyes behind the mask, a rainbow of shifting colors. She brings a finger to her lips, as if telling him- ]

[ With that said she steps up onto the ledge, tossing the rope aside since it won't help her from here. Before she goes, though, she does look back one more time, ignoring the wind tossing her hair. ] Be careful getting down. Don't need you falling for me twice on the same night.

[ She winks, and then she leaps over the side, finding a fire escape ladder to slide down until she's out of sight to continue her pursuit on foot. ]
